In Hindi, we say sentences like “मै करता था”, “तुम बोलते थे” to indicate repetitive events.
Similar sentences are said in Marathi as follows :-
मै करता था ( mai karatA thA )
मी करायचो ( mI karAyacho )
वह लडकी बोलती थी ( vah laDakI bolatI thI )
ती मुलगी बोलायची (tI mulagI bolAyachI )
वह लडका रोज नाचता था ( vah laDakA roj nAchatA thA )

As you can see, in Marathi the verb is suffixed with a form of आयचा ( AyachA ) depending on Gender and multiplicity of Karta.

Similarly, in the present tense, we say,
“मै बोलते रहता हूं”, “वह कहते रहता है”
In Marathi they are said as follows:
वह नाचते रहता है ( vah nAchate rahatA hai )
तो नाचत असतो (to nAchat asato )
वह बोलती रहती है ( wah bolatI rahatI hai )
