In English, future tense sentence can be formed using “going to” phrase.
e.g. “He will come” can also be said as “He is going to come”
In Gujarati this sentence is formed as follows
Subject | verb+form of વાનો(vAno) | form of હોવું(“hovuM”) as per subject and tense |
---|---|---|
હું (huM ) | કરવાનો (karavAno) | છું(ChuM) |
Form of વાનો(vAno) is selected as per gender and multiplicity of subject. As you would have expected, forms are
Masculine singular | વાનો (vAno ) |
Feminine Singular/ Plural | વાની (vAnI ) |
Neuter Singular | વાનું (vAnuM ) |
Masculine plural | વાના (vAnA ) |
Neuter plural or group of different genders or feminine polite | વાનાં (vAnAM ) |
So these forms follow the pattern discussed in lesson
